Frank Fuda, 93, Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. – Frank J. Fuda, 93, of Stamford, died on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at his home.

Fuda was born in Stamford on July 27, 1921, to Dominick and Mary Arcano Fuda. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a former member of the Piedmont Club as well as a former co-owner of Central Deli in Darien.

He is survived by his wife, Claire Case Fuda, of Stamford; his three sons, Douglas A. Fuda of Boston, Massachusettts; Richard A. Fuda of Norwalk, Connecticut; and Thomas L. Fuda of Shelton, Connecticut; one sister; three granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren. Fuda is predeceased by his parents, one sister and five brothers.

A service was held on Saturday, Jan. 10 at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial was at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford.
