STAMFORD, Conn. – Francis H. Girard of Stamford died Wednesday, June 17.
He was born Feb. 19, 1937, in Mount Vernon, N.Y., to the late Hubert and Mary (Meegan) Girard. He attended the Maritime College at Fort Schuyler and graduated with a mechanical engineering degree.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Girard; a brother and sister-in-law; and a nephew.
Family will receive relatives and friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldtown Road, Stamford, officiated by Monsignor Kevin Royal. Interment will be held privately.
