Frances Nagot, 98, Native Of Stamford, Worked At Oven Fresh Bakery, Inc.

SHELTON, Conn. - Frances Nagot of Shelton, and a longtime resident of Stamford, died Friday, May 3. She was 98.

Nagot was born June 16, 1914, in Stamford, to Teofil and Sophia Pietka. She worked as a sales representative for Oven Fresh Bakery, Inc. for over 30 years. She was a parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Parish for many years and was a member of the Rosary Society and the Holy Name Seniors group.

Nagot is survived by sons; Edmund (Barbara), of Shreveport, La., and Richard of Deep River; daughter, Christine Margait (Thomas), of Shelton; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, John J. Nagot; brothers, Szymeon and Edmund; and sisters, Helena and Helen.

Calling hours are Monday, May 6 from 4  to 8 p.m. at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave. in Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 7 at 11 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 305 Washington Blvd., Stamford. The committal service and interment will immediately follow Mass at St. John R.C. Cemetery in Darien.
