Former Bunnell HS Three-Sport Standout Michael Duzak Dies At 28

Michael A. Duzak of Bridgeport died March 11 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was 28 years old.

Michael was born in Bridgeport on Sept. 20, 1989 to Joseph and Susanne (Molnar) Duzak and has been a lifelong area resident. 

He was a graduate of Bunnell High School Class of 2007, where he played football, basketball and baseball. He was a graduate of Lincoln Culinary Institute. 

He was the Proprietor of Top of The Line Mapping Company. Michael was an avid fan of the New York Giants, Yankees and Knicks. 

He played basketball for St. Mark’s Church, baseball for Stratford Little League, and for the Braves of the Stratford Babe Ruth League, helping his team make it to the World Series. 

Michael had a great smile, and will be remembered by all who knew him. 

Michael was predeceased by his brother, Matthew, maternal grandfather, Eugene Molnar, and paternal grandparents, Michael and Leona Duzak. 

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Pauline Molnar of Stratford; aunts and uncles, Gary and Lori Molnar, Jane and Albert Brown, Mark and Joanne Molnar, Thomas and Katherine Molnar, Deborah and Robert Crossman, Michael and Jane Duzak, and Catherine Casella, and many cousins and friends.
