Capeles was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico to Hilda Capeles and Pedro Capeles, Sr. He was a U.S. Veteran, serving in the Marines. He worked for NBC, Stamford, as the Head Security Officer.
Capeles is survived by his mother, Hilda; wife, Gloria Patricia Capeles; daughters, Jessica, Christina, Sylvia and Ana Maria Duque; son, Fernando Capeles, Jr.; sister, Carmen; brothers, Tyrone, Alex, Carlos and Pedro, Jr.; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Pedro.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27 at Baker-Isaac Funeral Chapel, 985 Stratford Ave, Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at the Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown, Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m.
