Felicitas Loughran Cody, Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Felicitas Loughran Cody of Stamford died on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015. 

The daughter of Bridie (Walsh) and Frank Loughran, she was born and raised in Pomeroy, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. A Connecticut resident since returning from Southern California with her husband in 1994, Mrs. Cody was an active member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, the German American Club and a Columbiette of the Knights of Columbus. 

She is survived by her son, Stephen Kelly, and his wife, Kelly; her mother-in-law, Ann Cody; two grandchildren; her sister; two nephews; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and countless friends. She was predeceased by her husband, William E. Cody, who died in November 2010.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, at Shippan's Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, next to the Knights of Columbus, 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m. at The Basilica of Saint John the Evangelist, at 279 Atlantic St. in Stamford. Interment will be in Selleck's Corner Cemetery on Barnegat Road in New Canaan.
