DeVita was born June 6, 1918, in Greenwich. She graduated from Greenwich High School and worked as the head bookkeeper for Electrolux in Greenwich. After marriage she moved to Stamford where she raised two daughters.
DeVita is survived by her daughters, Michele DeVita Goodwin (David) and Lenore DeVita Miggins (Richard) of Los Angeles; brother, Alfred Oliver of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; nieces , nephews; friends; and neighbors.
A Memorial service will be held Sunday, August 11 at the O'Connor Mortuary, Laguna Hills, Calif.
