STAMFORD, Conn. – Eva Pauling 88, died Sunday, June 28.
She was born on September 25, 1926, in Bennettsville, South Carolina, daughter of the late Walter Pauling and Rev. Mary Pauling.
She was employed with St. Joseph Medical Center as a licensed practical nurse until retirement.
She is survived by one son, James A. Pauling; one sister; a special great-niece; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 7 from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by a service of celebration at noon at Union Baptist Church, 805 Newfield Ave., Stamford, with Rev. Robert W. Perry officiating. Interment will take place in Bennettsville, South Carolina.
Services have been entrusted to Downer Funeral Home.
