Wiggin was born Oct. 24, 1922, to O’Donnell and Urling Sibley Iselin. She was a resident of Darien from 1948, and a summer resident of Blue Hill, Maine.
Wiggin is survived by her daughters, Katharine Draper (Arthur) of Rowayton, Anne Shaw (Alan) of Darien, Patricia Barton (William) of Bolinas, Calif., Pamela Barry (Jon) of Darien; sons, Gordon Whelpley (Maria) of Redding, Alec Wiggin (Gail) of Darien, Theodore Wiggin (Priscilla) of Blue Hill, Maine; and 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and husbands, Gordon B. Whelpley in 1965 and Rollin H. Wiggin in 2003.
A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 1848 Post Road in Darien. A reception will follow at the church.
