STAMFORD, Conn. - Ellen Cappellieri, 97, formerly of Stamford, died Friday, Feb. 20, in Florida.
She was born May 7, 1917, in New Canaan, to the late Vincenzo and Assunta Lato Lobozzo.
Survivors include two sons, Charles (Marcia) Tiani of Stamford and Ronald (Cathy) Cappellieri of Connecticut; one daughter, Judy Fisher of Florida; one sister, Gloria (Ronald) Densky of Brookfield; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Two brothers, Carl and Jimmy Lobozzo, are deceased.
Calling hours will be from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:40 a.m. Saturday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Maurice Catholic Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford.
Interment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Darien.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
