STAMFORD, Conn. – Elizabeth Sandra Sondak, 49, of Stamford, died Monday, July 20 at Stamford Hospital.
She was born in Indonesia April 11, 1966, to Franciscus and Maria Kasenda Sondak. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Chris Tanu; her daughters Emilia and Felicia Tanu of Stamford; her mother, Maria Kasenda, of Indonesia; three sisters, all of Indonesia; and a brother in Holland.
She is predeceased by her father, Franciscus Sondak.
Family and friends may call Thursday, July 23 from 4-8 p.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford. A funeral procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory Friday, July 24 at 9:15 a.m. and proceed to St. Leo's Roman Catholic Church, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford, for a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Knights of Malta, NY Chapter, 1011 1st Avenue #1350, New York, NY 10022.
