Eileen Burriesci, 82, Lifelong Resident Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. - Eileen Burriesci, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died Tuesday, March 19. She was 82.

Burriesci was born July 8, 1930, in Stamford to John J. and Kathleen Hurley White. She was employed at Omega Engineering for 16 years before her retirement in 1996.

Burriesci is survived by a daughter, Dawn Jeffrey of Norwalk; sons, Richard Burriesci (Nancy) of Stamford and Barry Burriesci of Calif.; four grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jack; sisters, Eleanor Palmeri, Lillian Summa, Marion Galasso; and brother, John White.


Calling hours are Saturday March 23, 2013 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 23, at 10 a.m. at St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Ave., Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien.
