Edward Roberts Carroll, 91, Of Stamford, Worked In Broadcast

STAMFORD, Conn. - Edward Roberts Carroll of Stamford died April 28. He was 91.

Carroll was born Jan. 14, 1922, in New York City to Mildred and Leon Carroll. He graduated from NYU in the School of Broadcasting's first class. He had two  careers, the first in broadcasting and advertising, followed by 24 years on Wall Street.

He served in WWII in the Coast Guard attaining the rank of Lt. (j.g.). He lived in NYC, Tarrytown, N.Y., Chappaqua, N.Y., Ft Myers, Fla., and Stamford.

Carroll is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Robert (Mary) Carroll, James (Marcia) Carroll and Dr. Virginia (Tim) Daly; five grandchildren; brother, William (Emma Jane) Carroll; brother-in-law, Alan (Natalie) Bieber; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held May 1 at 11 a.m. at Fairfield Memorial Park in Stamford.
