Edward Daher, 88, Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. – Edward P. Muha, Sr., 88, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died Friday, March 20.

He was born in Stamford  to Anna Kutalek Muha and Edward J. Muha.

He was a  World War II veteran and owner of Parkway Citgo and Belltown Service Stations until his retirement in 1997.

He is survived by Cynthia Muha; Donna Esposito and husband, Frank; GJ Muha Furphy and husband, George; son-in-law, Michael DeMar; son Ned Muha; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Georgianna Conklin Muha; his daughter, Patricia Ann DeMar; and two brothers, Albert Muha and Richard Slink.

A service of celebration will be held Tuesday, from 5-8 p.m. at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford. Burial will be private.
