STAMFORD, Conn. - Donald F. Sabia, Sr., a lifelong Stamford resident died May 9. He was 66.
Sabia was born Oct. 9, 1946, son of Dominick Sabia and Marjorie (Stramandanoli) Sabia. He graduated from Stamford Catholic High School in 1964.
Sabia is survived by his former wife, Maria (Tiscia) Sabia; son, Donald F. "JR" Sabia, Jr. (Marlana); daughter, Kate Menzo; four grandchildren; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Wednesday, May 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 16 at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Interment will be private.
