STAMFORD, Conn. -- Donald Eugene Burgess, 78, former computer engineer and teacher died July 11, 2015.
He was the beloved son of the late Agnes Powell-Rowe and Clarence Rowe of Stamford.
A native of Bermuda, Burgess emigrated to the United States with his family in 1960 to be near his mother.
He is survived by his loving children; Larry (Catherine), Andrea, Michael, Dale (Laurent), Jason (Shannon), Divonne Podlesney (Scott), Robin and Glenn and his devoted partner; Anna Conklin. He also dearly enjoyed and loved his grandchildren Ashley, Ebonie, Ryan, Stephan, Leila, Mikaela, Tyra, Gabriel, Reese, Alex and Kaila and numerous relatives and friends.
Burgess loved the Lord and was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday followed by a service of remembrance at noon at the North Stamford Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2136 High Ridge Road, Stamford, with Pastor Alex Breja officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Stamford.
