Debra Y. Kaminski, 54, Former Stamford Resident

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Debra Y. Kaminski of Bridgeport, formerly of Stamford, died Oct. 26. She was 54.

Kaniski was born April 28, 1960, in Barbados, West Indies, to Lester Broome and Magnora Griffith. She was a lifelong employee of Merrill Lynch and a team mom for Trinity Catholic middle school football. When she came from Barbados she lived in Stamford then moved to Bridgeport where she resided.

Kaniski is survived by her husband, Henry Kaminski; son, Michael Kaminski; daughters, Serina Kaminski and Lalita Lewis (Eddie); seven grandchildren; father, Lester Broome; brother, Randolph Griffith (Roxanne); sister, June McCray; sisters-in-law, Virginia McCulley(Leon), Dianna Fields, Sally Kaminski (Eve); nephews and nieces; Peter, Carl; many aunts,uncles; and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Magnora Griffith.

Calling hours are Sunday, Nov. 2 at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford from 3 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Fairfield Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3.
