Constance DeAngelis, 82, Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. – Constance Helene DeAngelis, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died on Thursday, Nov. 5. She was 82.

DeAngelis was born in Stamford on March 11, 1933, to James and Theresa Frasca Schiavo. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1951.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband Anthony; and brother James Schiavo.

DeAngelis is survived by her son Nicholas and his wife Mary of Suwanee, Ga.; three daughters, Carol Gill and husband Scott, Jamie Pinto and husband Robert Jr. of Trumbull, and Ruth Ridgeway and husband Brian of Fairfield; and six grandchildren, two nieces, sister-in-law Dolores Schiavo and many cousins.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, Nov. 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., in Stamford.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. at St. Cecilia's RC Church, 1184 Newfield Ave., Stamford.

Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery Mausoleum in Darien.
