Bonis was born Aug. 30, 1927, in Stamford, to Michael and Violet Botticelli Bonis.
Bonis is survived by his wife, Mary R. Moscatello Bonis, of Trumbull; daughters, Melissa Shapiro (Allen) of Trumbull, Linda Vitti and Sandra Memoli; and sons, Michael Bonis and Charlie Bonis. He was predeceased by his parents; and daughter, Sharon Bonis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm St., Stamford. Interment will be private and there will be no calling hours.
