TRUMBULL, Conn. — Catherine M. Robertucci, of Trumbull, formerly of Stamford, died Friday March 8. She was 87.
Robertucci was born Nov. 9, 1925, to John and Minnie Maruca Montagnesi. She was raised and resided in Stamford until moving to Trumbull in 1988. She graduated from Stamford High School in 1943.
Robertucci is survived by her husband Fred; daughter Patricia Ganino (Michael) of Bridgeport; son, Fred (Betty) of Orlando, Fla.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Dante V. Montagnesi (Nancy) of Greenwich; sister Grace Tambourine of Dallas, Texas; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brother Tony Montagnesi.
Calling hours will be Wednesday March 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., in Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday March 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church, 914 Newfield Ave., Stamford. Burial will be at St John's Catholic Cemetery, 25 Camp Ave., Darien immediately thereafter. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Robertucci Saturday March 16 at 9 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St.., Trumbull.
Donations may be made in Robertucci's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
