STAMFORD, Conn. – Carmella J. DeFelice of Stamford died Saturday, April 23. She was 85.
She was born in Stamford on Feb. 25, 1931, to the late Samuel and Philomena Debrisco. She was a diehard Yankee fan. She was a former employee at Thrush Press before her retirement.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Tom) O'Neil, Cindy (Glenn) Perry and Danny (Lyn) DeFelice; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and her sister, Angie Piersanti.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 28, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church on Schuyler Avenue in Stamford. Inurnment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, 25 Camp Ave., Darien.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the Lacerenza Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford.
