Barbara J. De Rubis, 79, Of Stamford, Worked As A Crossing Guard

TRUMBULL, Conn. - Barbara J. De Rubis, formerly of Stratford died Saturday, July 20. She was 79.

De Rubis was born Feb. 21, 1934, in Gardner, Maine, daughter of Eva (Madore) and Joseph Gagnon. She worked as a crossing guard in Stamford.

De Rubis is survived by her son, Albert E. De Rubis; daughter-in-law, Beatriz V. De Rubis; and a granddaughter.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 25 at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. James Church, 2110 Main St., Stratford, followed by interment at St. John's Cemetery in Darien.
