Arline Alice Nelson, 87, Of Stamford, Worked For Roberts Fine Furniture

STAMFORD, Conn. - Arline Alice Nelson of Stamford died Sept. 21. She was 87.

Nelson was born May 13, 1927, to Alice and Robert Foote in Port Chester, N.Y. A secretary by trade, she spent most of her career as an employee of Roberts Fine Furniture. She volunteered weekly at First Presbyterian Church in Stamford.

Nelson is survived by her husband, Harry Nelson; son, Gary Nelson (Doreen) of Stratford; daughter, Barbara Meno of Stamford; five grandchildren; and brother, Bob Foote (Marianne) of North Hampton, Mass.

A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at the First Presbyterian Church (Fish Church), 1101 Bedford St., Stamford. Burial will be private.
