Anthony Falletta, 72, Of Stamford, Director, Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home

STAMFORD, Conn. - Anthony "Ragu" Falletta of Stamford died Sunday, Oct. 27. He was 72.

Falletta was born Sept. 13, 1941, in the Bronx, N.Y., son of Jennie and Nicholas Falletta of the Bronx, N.Y. He was a Stamford resident for the last seven years. He served in the U. S. Armed Services from 1963 to 1965. He was in the funeral services business, first as co-owner of a family business Cordovano and Falletta (1965 to 1988), and then as Director of Operations for Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home from 1988 through 2004.

Falletta is survived by his wife, Alma Weinberg; daughter, Bernadette Oliva (Michael); step-daughter, Mia Weinberg; son, Anthony J. Falletta and his family; sister, JoAnn Mongelli (Michael); a niece and nephew; two grandchildren; two step grandchildren; grand nieces and nephews; and extended family. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Shaun P. Clinton; nephew, John Brescia; and "children" Michael Weinberg, Jr. and Kathleen M. Walsh.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at St. Clements Parish, 535 Fairfield Ave., Stamford.
