Anthony Dominic Mastroni, Worked For Pitney Bowes In Stamford

MILFORD, Conn. - Anthony Dominic Mastroni of Milford died Nov. 25. He was 70.

Mastroni was born Aug. 8, 1943, in Bridgeport, to Dominic Mastroni and Esther (Ferrusi) Mastroni. He was raised in Trumbull and was a Milford resident for 44 years. After high school, he served in the U.S. Navy for four years and earned his license as an electrician. He was employed by Pitney Bowes and worked at its world headquarters in Stamford until his retirement in 1998.

Mastroni is survived by his wife, Dolores (Oliver) Mastroni; daughter, Debra Mastroni-Kenyon (Wayne); son, Dominic Mastroni; a granddaughter; sisters, Carmelita Kelly (Daniel) of Summerfield, Fla., and Judith Plourde (Gary) of Sinking Springs, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother-in-law, Charles Hanish; and sister, Mary Lou Hanish.

Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, directly in the Woodmont United Church of Christ, 1000 New Haven Ave., Milford. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery in Stratford, followed by a reception at Gusto's Trattoria, 255 Boston Post Road, Milford.
