Annette L. Cunliffe, Retired Access Ambulance Corps Employee In Stamford

SHELTON, Conn. - Annette Lucille (Sanchione) Cunliffe of Shelton died Dec. 11. She was 54.

Cunliffe was born Sept. 23, 19459, in Bridgeport; daughter of Frank Sanchione and Maureen (Duffy) Bolde and stepdaughter of Dolores Sanchione. She was married to Richard Cunliffe.

She served as an EMT, volunteering for Echo Hose Ambulance in Shelton and later working from the Stamford headquarters of Access Ambulance Corps for many years until her retirement.

Cunliffe is survived by her sons, Albert R. Carey Jr. (Jamie), Christopher J. LaQuay (Anisa) and Kevin J. LaQuay; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother, Maureen; and sister, Marie Sanchione.

Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 10:30 a.m. in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton with the Rev. Jorge Garcia officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cunliffe's memory to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 E. 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
