Anna Marie Boylan, 89, Of Stamford, Worked For Heat Physicians

STAMFORD, Conn. - Anna Marie (Mae) Boylan of Stamford died Sunday, Nov. 2. She was 89.

Boylan was born Nov. 12, 1924, in Girardville, Pa., to James and Mary Elizabeth McDonald. She graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Girardville and trained to be an EKG technician at Flushing Hospital in N.Y. She worked as an EKG technician at Greenwich Hospital for 25 years and upon retirement worked for the Heart Physicians of Stamford for another five years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters in Stamford and the Stamford AARP.

Boylan is survived by her daughter, Regina Bulla (Frank); two granddaughters; two great grandchildren; a niece and several nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Owen J. Boylan; son, Owen Boylan, Jr.; and brothers, Raymond, James and Joseph.

Calling hours are Thursday, Nov. 6 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 1200 Shippan Ave., Stamford. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich.
