STAMFORD, Conn. - Angelo Migliorelli of Stamford died Thursday, Oct. 17. He was 84.
Migliorelli was born March 9, 1929, in Santa Maria Infante, Italy, to Salvatore and Angela Pensiero Migliorelli. He was employed as a stonemason at Cardillo Construction for over 10 years until his retirement in 1991 and a former employee of Paul Bacco Construction and Rondano Construction .He was a member of the Minturnese Social Club for over 50 years.
Migliorelli is survived by his wife, Filomena Mele Migliorelli; daughter, Angie Roxburgh (Evan) of Stamford; sons, Emilio Migliorelli of Stamford, Sal Migliorelli (Dianne) of Trumbull; brothers, Flavio Migliorelli of Italy, Americo Migliorelli of Australia; four grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Antonio, Mario and Elio Migliorelli.
A funeral procession will be leave The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 Monday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. John’s Mausoleum, Darien.
