Angelina Ciliberto, 76, Worked As Electronic Technician In Stamford

NORWALK, Conn. - Angelina Bonaddio Ciliberto of Norwalk died Jan. 6. She was 76.

Ciliberto was born Nov. 2, 1937, in Sambiase, Italy, to Giovanna "Jenny" Cuiuli Bonaddio Ritzzo and Vincenzo Bonaddio. She and her family lived in southern Italy during World War II. Her mother remarried, and the family immigrated to the United States in 1948. She joined the rest of her family in Norwalk in December 1949. She attended Norwalk schools; and then went on to work in the printing and early aerospace industry, first working for O'Brien Press and later with Conde Nast Publications. She went on to become an electronic technician at a variety of companies in Norwalk and Stamford including the Burndy Corporation and other affiliated corporations.

Ciliberto is survived by her husband, Salvatore; daughter, Rosanne Ciliberto Reyes (Jose); son, John Ciliberto; three grandchildren; brothers, Giuseppe (Joe) Bonaddio of Bradenton, Fla., and Michael Ritzzo, Jr. of Weston; sister, Raffaela Marie Rizzo Fenn, of Amelia Island, Fla.; four step-sisters, Rose Ritzzo Mola and Angelina Ritzzo Casevecchi of Largo, Fla., Connie Ritzzo Marotto of Norwalk and Ann Ritzzo Redican of Meriden; 15 nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; step-nieces and nephews; cousins; and extended family in Connecticut, Florida, Italy and Australia. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Antonio Bonaddio and Francesco Bonaddio of Norwalk.

Calling hours are Thursday, Jan. 9 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall St., from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10 at the parlor, the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. She will be laid to rest in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk, following the Mass.
