STAMFORD, Conn. -- Agnes B. (Mulreed) Toth, of Stamford, died on Monday, March 14. She was 88.
Born in Stamford, Toth was a founding member of both St. Leo Parish and Roxbury Swim Club. She was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Society of Mayflower Descendants.
She is survived by her children, John Reed Toth of Stamford, Alison Kelly and her husband Thomas of Kennesaw, Georgia, Patricia McDermott and her husband Norman of Stamford, and Susan McGoldrick and her husband Christopher of Darien; grandchildren Kathleen Toth, Brian Kelly, Cara Kelly, Andrew Toth, Colleen McDermott, Kevin Kelly, Meghan McDermott, Jackson McGoldrick; step-granddaughter Melissa Carter; step great-granddaughter Taylor Hermann; siblings Mary Elizabeth French and Francis Mulreed; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Toth was predeceased by her husband, John Toth; son Michael Toth; parents James and Frances (Murphy) Mulreed; and brother James Mulreed.
A mass will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday March 18, St. Leo Church in Stamford. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, in Stamford. Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, in Stamford, is assisting with arrangements.
