SHELTON, Conn. - Adeline Moccia Ventura of Shelton died Wednesday, June 4. She was 87.
Ventura was born Sept. 16, 1926, in Stamford, to Benny and Helen (Morsa) Moccia. Prior to her move to Shelton, she was employed by Classin Corporation in Stamford.
Ventura is survived by her daughter, Deanna Ventura Faugno (Gene) of Stamford; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Ventura of Shelton; five grandchildren; brothers, Thomas Moccia (Mary), Joseph Moccia (Bernice) and Richard Moccia (Barbara); and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and son, Bert Ventura, Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave, Stamford. Interment will take place in private.
