The virus has been found in ticks in two locations in the state, so professionals at the Center for Vector Biology & Zoonotic Diseases are doing everything they can to capture the ticks and focus on places where ticks carrying this potentially deadly virus have been spotted. One of these locations is Bridgeport's Lake Success, reported nhregister.com.

The disease can also have other devastating results. After the virus attacks the nervous system, there can be long-term damage since there is no specific treatment available, reported nhregister.com.
