- Domus announced Monday that its summer camp was made possible thanks to a $100,000 grant from the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Foundation. The Cohen's also gave the campers two rides on the SoundWaters Schooner.
- Just after midnight on Monday morning a masked man entered Eveready Transportation and pistol whipped the dispatcher and stole two money bags. Police arrested a man on drug charges who is a person of interest in the robbery.

- People without health insurance will soon be able to get health care without going to the emergency room as AmeriCares will be opening a free clinic in the city.
- The city reported Thursday morning that mosquitoes trapped in Stamford tested positive for West Nile Virus.

- First County Bank is offering $5,000 to anyone with information that will help Stamford Police arrest the woman who robbed a Stamford branch in July.
- A Stamford firefighter turned himself in to police on a forgery charge after police found evidence he was washing bills at home. Police found the evidence while executing a search warrant in suspicion of his son selling drugs out of the home. The son turned himself in Thursday on several drug charges.
