A witness reported seeing three masked people rob the delivery man at around 3:40 p.m. and run away, the Connecticut Post reported. Minutes later the delivery man called police to report the robbery. Police responded to the area and began to search the scene, including using a K9 to track the robbers from the scent of the ski masks, which were discarded nearby, according to the Connecticut Post.

Eventually officers spotted two of the suspects in the water of Holly Pond near the border with Darien, crouched up to their necks, the Connecticut Post reported. They managed to coax them out of the water and took them into custody. Police told the Connecticut Post that they are still searching for the third suspect.
