FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- State officials are developing plans to replace signage on the Merritt Parkway between Greenwich and Milford.

All overhead, side-mounted, post-mounted and variable message signs are slated to be replaced. This includes ramp signing.

New design plans are expected to be available in June. Preliminary reports say the sign replacement project will cost approximately $6 million.

Anyone interested in requesting information on this project may do so by contacting Mrs. Anna S. Mermelstein, Project Engineer, at 860-594-2715. Make reference to Project No. 173-472.
