Ramiro Arcos-Garcia, 34, was supposed to be sentenced Monday in Stamford court, but the hearing was postposed to Aug. 29. Arcos-Garcia, who is being held on $2.5 million bond, pled guilty in June to stabbing Jackson Pierre-Louis in the chest, the Stamford Advocate reported.

Shortly after his arrest, he tried to escape and was later sentenced to five years for that incident, the Stamford Advocate says.
