Few vehicles are seen venturing out due to the treacherous conditions in the city.

An overnight snowstorm was not the blizzard that was predicted, but it still dropped about a half-foot of snow across Stamford.

Light snow continues to fall on Tuesday, and strong winds are blowing the fine, powdery snow across the roads.

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday with blowing snow. Temperatures will remain in the low 20s and another 2 to 4 inches of snow may accumulate.
