Stamford Police Identify Pedestrian Hit by Car

STAMFORD, Conn. — Police have identified the man hit by a car on West Broad Street in Stamford on Sunday night as Jose Alfredo Cisneros. The 49-year-old Stephen Street resident remained in Stamford Hospital’s Critical Care Unit on Tuesday, a police statement said.

Cisneros was struck by 2006 Nissan Altima driven by Firoz Ahmed, 37, of Stamford. He was headed west as the victim attempted to cross West Broad Street, the statement said. No charges have been filed at this time, police said.
