STAMFORD, Conn. Police Officer Troy Strauser, who fell 20 feet during a foot pursuit May 17, was released Friday afternoon from Norwalk Hospital, Sgt. Joseph Kennedy of the Stamford police said.
The doctors have been really happy with his progress, Kennedy said.
Kennedy said he has not talked to Strauser, but he said Strauser is grateful for all the prayers he has received and is ready to begin the recovery period. The Police Department is giving the family as much privacy as possible, Kennedy said.
Strauser will continue rehabilitation at home now, the sergeant said.
