STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford Mayor David Martin announced a pothole-filling initiative that will begin Friday, March 14, during his first Google Hangout on Google+ on Thursday, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Residents can report potholes by using the myStamford app for smartphones, by emailing email@example.com or by calling 203-977-5858.
Residents should include an approximate address of the pothole and personal contact information. Photos can be included with the report, the Stamford Advocate said.
Due to the severity of the winter, Martin will be asking for additional funding from the state legislature's Appropriations Committee to help fund road repairs and defray budget overruns, the Stamford Advocate reported.
