Stamford Man Honored At the United Nations

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford resident Dr. Raymond Sackler was honored at the United Nations recently for his support of Israel.

During the visit to the United Nations he met with Israel's U.N. Ambassador Ron Prosar, on behalf of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and with Joseph Klafter, president of Tel Aviv University, a news release said. The meeting took place on July 22.

Sackler is an entrepreneur and philanthropist.
