Stamford Man Gets 1 Year In Jail For Beating Homeless Man

STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford man was sentenced to one year in jail for beating a homeless man with a sock full of rocks, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Deron Ladson, 31, and his alleged accomplice, Robert Lee Keitt, 36, allegedly beat the 57-year-old victim last November outside of his van because of a dispute that took place the previous week, the Stamford Advocate reported. 

Keitt's case is still pending, the Stamford Advocate said.
