The News-Times noted that Todd Crawford recently attended a lobbying event in Washington, where he spoke of the need to devote more resources to diagnosis and treatment of the affliction.

Colagrossi had been suffering from headaches for a month before her death, Crawford told the News-Times. The WABC-7 reporter had just completed a story in Queens, N.Y., when she collapsed and died driving back to the station.
