STAMFORD, Conn. —The Immediate Care Center at the Tully Health Center in Stamford has expanded its hours to 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, a release from Stamford Hospital said.
The care center is open to the public without appointment when they can’t see their regular physician, and is staffed by emergency-trained physicians and nurses, the release said.
The Immediate Care Center common sees the following ailments: cold and flu symptoms; sprains, strains, cuts and simple fractures; fevers, sore throats and earaches; migraines and headaches; skin rashes and allergies, the release said. If patients are unsure of the severity of the symptoms they should err on the side of caution and head to the emergency department, the release said.
