STAMFORD, Conn., -- Students will enjoy a long weekend after the region's second major snowfall in two weeks carpets the area with inches of snow.

The snow has closed down schools and led to other organizations opening later than normal. The snow comes after a major winter mild spell that saw the snow from Jan. 23's storm almost completely disappear.
