- Stamford's Kaitlyn Tarpey was named Miss Connecticut on June 22, and will be competing in the Miss America Pageant this September.
- The father-daughter duo of Dave and Emma Hart will be completing their first album. The two successfully raised more than $18,500 on Kickstarter.
- A 21-year-old Stamford man was found with two gunshot wounds Tuesday night. It appears the shooting took place on the city's West Side.
- Allyson Rioux's mother and sisters were on hand to accept her induction into the Fairfield County Sports Hall of Fame Wednesday. Rioux, who died at age 27, was a star athlete at Westhill High.
- A Stamford delivery man was stabbed and his homeless in-law was arrested Wednesday. The in-law had been living at the victim's home, but was thrown out and still upset, police said.
- Stamford Police arrested a suspected drug dealer from New York with 37 bags of heroin on him. During the arrest the suspect's pit bull bit three of the officers.
