Report: Stamford's SAC Hedge Fund Negotiating With Prosecutors

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford hedge fund SAC Capital Advisors and federal prosecutors began talks to settle criminal insider trading charges against the firm, according to a report by The New York Times.

Charges were filed against the hedge fund in July, according to the article.  

Steven Cohen of Greenwich founded SAC Capital Advisors. He is worth an estimated $9.3 billion.
