Miguel Uzhca, 32, of Kent Avenue, was arrested Saturday after repeatedly failing sobriety tests. Police spotted Uzhca's black 1996 Chevy Lumina swerving from side to side on Henry Street at approximately 1:30 a.m., according to Sgt. Simon Blanc. The officer flashed his overhead lights, but Uzhca ignored the signal to pull over and continued for several yards before finally stopping at 181 Henry St. He had no license or insurance, said Blanc. Uzhca smelled of alcohol and the officer administered three different sobriety tests. Uzhca failed each, according to Blanc. He was placed under arrest. When brought to the station for processing, he was given a fourth sobriety test. He failed that as well, with a blood alcohol level of .135. He was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to drive on the right side, and disobeying the signal of an officer.
