STAMFORD, Conn. — There will be no garbage or recycling pick up in Stamford on Thanksgiving.

The city will pick up garbage and recycling on Friday for those with Thursday pickup, and come around Saturday for those with Friday pickup, according to a news release from the city.

The transfer station/recycling center on Magee Avenue will be closed Thanksgiving and re-open on Friday.
The recycling center on Scofieldtown Road and Rockrimmon Road is closed and will re-open on Dec. 3.
