NBC Tapes Fourth TV Talk Show in Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. — NBC Universal has started taping its fourth daytime talk show, “Trisha Goddard,” at the Stamford Media Center, joining “The Jerry Springer Show,” “The Steve Wilkos Show,” and “Maury,” a release from the company said.

“The warm welcome I’ve received from the team at the Stamford Media Center, as well as the Stamford community, has made it easy to feel at home in Connecticut,” Trisha Goddard, the host of the show said in the release.  She began taping the show at the beginning of August.

The show, which is scheduled to begin airing Sept. 17 on Channel 55 WLNY, will feature Goddard attempting to help people and families navigate their way through difficult situations, the release said. The topics will focus on women's issues, the release said.
